Candice’s Low Carb Chocolate Peanut butter Protein Bars
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons (1oz) unsalted butter
2 Tablespoons (1oz) natural peanut butter
2 Tablespoons granulated Splenda
4-6 drops liquid Sucralose/EZ-Sweetz
1/3 cup peanut flour
chocolate topping:
1 Tablespoon (0.5oz) unsalted butter
1 Tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder(I use dutch process)
6-8 drops liquid Sucralose
Instructions:
Line baking sheet with parchment paper(you can use something smaller I just like using a small baking sheet for a flat surface)
In a heat proof bowl, melt butter and peanut butter in microwave on high for about 35 seconds. Once melted, take out and stir until smooth. Add Splenda and liquid Sucralose. Lastly add your peanut flour. Still until a smooth mixture is formed.
- Divide mixture into 3 equal parts.
- Roll into balls then press slightly between your hands to form a bar shape. Set down on the parchment lined baking sheet and finish your bar forming/shaping to your liking.
- Place in refrigerator while making chocolate topping.
In small heat proof bowl or cup, melt butter in microwave. Add cocoa and stir until smooth.
Lastly add your liquid Sucralose and mix til combined.
Take bars out of the refrigerator and equally divide the chocolate mixture between the bars. Smooth on the top with a spatula.
Set back in refrigerator until set up. Store in an air tight container or baggie in refrigerator.
