The teas and herbal infusions that are developed and produced by Twinings are designed to ensure that no gluten is present as an ingredient or component in any of our products, including the tea bag paper. We do not allow any gluten-containing ingredients into our 4 manufacturing factories.

Some of the flavourings that Twinings use do contain small amounts of maltodextrin, which is present as a carrier for the flavouring. We ensure that any maltodextrin used in the flavourings is not derived from wheat.

Teas and herbal materials do not naturally contain gluten. However, certain products may contain tiny amounts of gluten as an unavoidable consequence of cross contamination with wheat where they are produced. However, analysis has shown that, at the levels detected, this poses no problem even to gluten-sensitive consumers, largely because gluten is not soluble in water and is therefore undetectable in the final brew.

Jeg spurte om det er noe i den gule vanlige(har bergamot i seg og jeg vil ikke ha høy-GI-maltodextrin i meg), men fikk ikke svar på det, så jeg spurte på nytt som svar på dette mailen. Skal si ifra hvis jeg får svar.
