Since its easter, i have been visiting friends and family quite a lot the last few days. Most of the time i have brought my own food, but today i didnt have the time. They really had nothing i could eat. So i ate whatever they gave me, i thought since i was eating no-food already, i might as well make it worth it. I ate quite a lot food with high carbs. When eating high carb food for one day, do you normally gain a lot of weight, or is it ok if it happens on a rare occasion? How much can i expect to gain? I guess its very individual..

After a one-time thing like this, whatever weight you gain is water-weight, and you'll probably lose it pretty quickly again.

Just get back on the horse again tomorrow and follow your usual diet. Things happen, don't think too much of it.

Yup, it does depend a lot on each person - some experience a standstill for a couple of days, some gain 0.5 kg, and some can gain up to two - or even three - kilos. Of course it's all water weight, so in any case you've only put your weight loss on hold for perhaps a couple of days, maybe a week at the most. ;)

Oh, and it's a good idea to drink a lot of water - that way the water weight will be "flushed out" more quickly! :ja:

Then i guess there's not much to do but wait and see how it will effect me :-)
